Time to Address the Real Problems

I sit wondering where the United States will be in 10 years if we, the public, allow the sorrows of greed and corruption to continue without restriction. As with most Americans, I have fallen from time to time into the category of people that turned an eye to reduce stress, anger and frustration that I have felt toward the political and corporate world, but it has become apparent that I can no longer keep quiet.

Today we face problems that cannot be overcome by a government that is out of touch with reality. We have "for life" politicians that provide solutions with very little logic applied to an actual remedy to the problem. Corporations and other entities that theoretically have no voting power are controlling the decision of policy makers through dollars paid by our retirement funds to produce nothing less than the greed of profit, and a blind-eye to humanity. How can we expect to grow as a civilization with leaders elected on their presentation rather than their content? We are at a tipping point in the history of our beloved country, and real patriotism is what is needed. Not the patriotism that George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and the Tea Party are selling to make you feel guilty, or a trader if you don't agree, but patriotism that symbolizes passion and caring for the state of a nations people. It comes not at the cost of lives, but at the cost of perseverance and cooperation with others that care about the future for not only ourselves, but the children of those we love, and the children that we do not even know.

Each day we are reminded of the many inconceivable decisions that have, and are being made by our "leaders." Too often we see these problems and come up with a solution for them, only to forget what created them. We are so caught up in the frustration that we forget to first attack the real problem (politicians and corporations) and instead treat the symptoms.... or in cases that treating the symptom would weaken the root problem, we do not come to the table with a plan of action, but rather rants and unproductive pipe-dream solutions.

With the proper plan of attack, and plan of action for the major issues in our nation, it is possible to weaken the opposition and make a difference for the future. Come together and make your voices heard first by voting these guys out. Voting Democrat, Republican, or Tea Party will have no affect, as they each are controlled by funding and contributions by entities that want to control their puppet strings. Vote for someone without a party affiliation and spread the word about what is going on, and how they can help change. Many times your voice will fall on deaf ears, but each time you convince someone to take action it increases the probability that the next time those deaf ears hear the same thing, they will be convinced.

It is my goal with this blog to create awareness and solutions for the nations problems. I cannot do it alone and will look for feedback, positive or negative, on my ideas. Finding the faults in my methods and action plans will only strengthen and improve the final solution for these problems, as no one person can see all the angles.

Till next time... Make it happen, for the world will thank you.

  1. I agree. Let's get the discussions started. May I recommend watching "Tapped" on Netflix? Even the most simple thing as water has been corrupted by corporations and the federal government.
